Descriptive Poem (Open)
Lil Emily:
Her Great Loss
Lil Emily's hair is in a
mess;
She took her knife she love best.
"Goodbye ugly hair,"
Under the moonlight she cuts her hair with care.
Lil Emily's hair is now short;
She suddenly misses her hair she once fought.
Soft locks upon her shoulders are now gone,
She made dollies with them until dawn.
Lil Emily can no longer breathe;
Nor can she feel her heart beat.
Lil Emily no longer has the ability to grow;
Now she can only feel cold.
Everyday Lil Emily's grief increased;
She can't get over the fact that her parents are deceased.
She is now alone in this cruel world.
Oh poor Lil Emily; The undead lil girl.
She took her knife she love best.
"Goodbye ugly hair,"
Under the moonlight she cuts her hair with care.
Lil Emily's hair is now short;
She suddenly misses her hair she once fought.
Soft locks upon her shoulders are now gone,
She made dollies with them until dawn.
Lil Emily can no longer breathe;
Nor can she feel her heart beat.
Lil Emily no longer has the ability to grow;
Now she can only feel cold.
Everyday Lil Emily's grief increased;
She can't get over the fact that her parents are deceased.
She is now alone in this cruel world.
Oh poor Lil Emily; The undead lil girl.
Darkness
Darkness dwells in the
hearts of many.
Not everyone has a pure mind.
Not everyone has a pure heart.
We often have ill thoughts about one another;
It just depends on the individual on blurting it out, that's all.
Darkness has long clutched upon my heart.
Darkness has poisoned my mind.
Darkness is now living within me.
I am darkness and darkness is me, we are one.
Not everyone has a pure mind.
Not everyone has a pure heart.
We often have ill thoughts about one another;
It just depends on the individual on blurting it out, that's all.
Darkness has long clutched upon my heart.
Darkness has poisoned my mind.
Darkness is now living within me.
I am darkness and darkness is me, we are one.
The Mirror
Maiden sat by the window
sit
As the maiden watched the moon rise.
The maiden closed her eyes as the light of the moon touched her skin.
By the window the maiden sat.
Hair as dark as the shadows,
Skin as fair as a snow flake,
Eyes as dark as the moon,
Lips as red as blood.
Aren't you lonely, dear maiden?
In a cold and dark tower
With nothing but the sun and the moon for companions?
Dear lonely maiden.
A cracked mirror in the maiden's drawer,
The only way she sees herself.
So distorted.
So utterly horrible.
I will bring a mirror,
So subtle so precise,
A perfect pane of glass.
So silver, so exact.
Maiden found a mirror by her window sit;
So cold, so calm , so delicate.
Maiden held the mirror with grace
As she looked into the mirror.
You no longer have to see that distorted figure
That the broken mirror creates.
You will see your beauty every moment you look into the mirror,
As I will finally see maiden's first smile.
As the maiden watched the moon rise.
The maiden closed her eyes as the light of the moon touched her skin.
By the window the maiden sat.
Hair as dark as the shadows,
Skin as fair as a snow flake,
Eyes as dark as the moon,
Lips as red as blood.
Aren't you lonely, dear maiden?
In a cold and dark tower
With nothing but the sun and the moon for companions?
Dear lonely maiden.
A cracked mirror in the maiden's drawer,
The only way she sees herself.
So distorted.
So utterly horrible.
I will bring a mirror,
So subtle so precise,
A perfect pane of glass.
So silver, so exact.
Maiden found a mirror by her window sit;
So cold, so calm , so delicate.
Maiden held the mirror with grace
As she looked into the mirror.
You no longer have to see that distorted figure
That the broken mirror creates.
You will see your beauty every moment you look into the mirror,
As I will finally see maiden's first smile.
Wicked Sin
Take a look around
Tell me what you have found,
For whatever you see
Is nothing more but a twisted version of reality
That you lived in
You wicked sin.
You're forced to believe
In all those lies they weaved.
You were naive
When you felt relieved.
Later you realized you're being deceived
But it's too late so you wallow yourself in grief.
Stop crying.
Stop apologizing.
Start standing.
Start a new beginning.
Erase your memories from so long ago,
Now you're capable of so much more.
Just let go
Now you know what you're here for.
You're suppose to take control of your own life
You're not a dead meat under a butcher's knife.
Stop crying.
Start standing.
Tell me what you have found,
For whatever you see
Is nothing more but a twisted version of reality
That you lived in
You wicked sin.
You're forced to believe
In all those lies they weaved.
You were naive
When you felt relieved.
Later you realized you're being deceived
But it's too late so you wallow yourself in grief.
Stop crying.
Stop apologizing.
Start standing.
Start a new beginning.
Erase your memories from so long ago,
Now you're capable of so much more.
Just let go
Now you know what you're here for.
You're suppose to take control of your own life
You're not a dead meat under a butcher's knife.
Stop crying.
Start standing.
Foolish Hero
Do you think you're a hero?
Well, you're not.
How can you save the world
When you can't save yourself?
You'll die out there,
In the real world.
You'll suffer out there,
In the cruel world.
Stop going,
Come back.
Stop walking,
Come back.
I need you,
You need me too.
I love you...
But you don't seem to love me.
Go foolish hero,
Go to your own death.
One less foolish human in the world,
The better it is.
Limerick
The Cracked Mirror
Drawer lay white cracked mirror
Which she sees herself day by day
Figure so horrible
It was so terrible
Never in her life she was gay.
Haiku
The Skeleton
In a dark dungeon,
There lies a white skeleton;
So sad, so lonely.
Positive
When darkness arrives,
Keep your face to the sunshine
Shadows you won’t see.

A Cat’s Life
I dreamed
I was a cat
On a rooftop,
Silently watching humans.
Proud.
